QUESTION: How is this different than other career or coach training programs?

First off, if you're looking for traditional, job-focused career coach training this program is definitely NOT for you. Why? Because the goal of traditional career coaching is to help your clients choose or change careers within the confines of working for someone else.

Just walk into any career center – private, university, government run – and you'll find all the help you need to do a job search, craft a resumè, or prepare for an interview. That's because the entire emphasis is on getting a job.

But ask these career counselor's what they suggest to someone who wants to help people live healthier lives, loves to make people laugh, wants to earn six figures, and would like to spend summers in Greece... and 99.9 percent of them will look at you like you have two heads!

Plus, traditional career counseling tends to revolve around skills assessments and personality profiles. My course does not. That's because I'm not particularly interested in what a person is "good" at. I mean I'm good at typing and mowing the lawn, but that doesn't mean I want to do either for a living.

Question: How much money can I make?

Even if legally I were allowed to speculate on your projected earnings (which I'm not), I wouldn't pretend to know how much you will personally earn. There are just way too many variables and options involved in a business like this to speculate.

You might think being unable to nail down a specific dollar figure up front is a bad thing. Trust me, it's not. As someone who now brings in close to six times my former corporate salary, let me tell you – having lots of options is a very good thing. Why? Because options = opportunity.

Think about it...

In a j-o-b, someone else decides how much you're "worth." Unless you are in a commissioned sales position, no matter how hard you work, or how long your commute is, or how many overtime hours you take from your life and give to your employer – your paycheck is exactly the same.

The beauty of working for yourself is that you are in control. In control of your time, in control of your schedule, and ultimately in control of your earnings...

You get to decide things like...

• How often do I want to work?

• How many clients would I like to see each week?

• Who would be my ideal client?

• How will I price myself? (Depending on your market, you can charge anywhere from $75 up to $200 or more for a single session and hundreds or even thousands for a multi-session package.)

• What kind of information products or other services will I add in the future?

• Would I like to take summers off or spend the winter someplace warm?

Don't worry if you can't answer these questions right now. You'll receive all the tools you need to design the perfect business model for you in your materials.

As a ballpark, one consultant made $200 doing a 2-hour seminar that was paid for by her local library. Others have charged on an individual basis anywhere from $30 per person on up. When you work for yourself... how much you earn is limited only by your own imagination.

Yes. I would love to train thousands, even millions of people to do this kind of work. And maybe someday I will. But not right now.

The coach training portion of this program is largely self-study. However there is also a significant support aspect of the program that is designed to answer questions, get you off on the right foot, and meet and network with other consultants.
